The Roughing cycle can now use In Process (dynamic) stock in the milling environment. Prior to using the Roughing cycle, use M-Functions menu ► Update Stock, to update the stock with the effects of previous machining. Then in the cycle dialog, for the Stock Type option choose the new Current Stock setting. The cycle will now have a dynamic link to the stock, so will adapt itself to any changes to the stock machining higher up the sequence.
This latest development follows the introduction of In Process Stock for turning in version 2009 R1.
In Process Stock is now available on all milling, turning and production licenses.
