Reversing the Cut Direction in the Finish Turn Cycle

In the Finish Turn cycle, the cycle direction is taken from the feature direction. However, this is not always the direction you may want to cut.

While it is easy to manually reverse the cut direction by changing the profile start and end points this is not possible through a strategy.

To overcome this problem, Edgecam 2009 R2 offers the new Reverse Direction (Control tab) option. Check this to change the direction of the tool along the cut, so that it travels from the designated end point to the start point.
