2D Turn Envelope with Stock from STL Models
When creating stock from STL models (in the Turn environment), checking Geometry menu ► Stock/Fixture ► Turn Envelope now successfully produces an envelope.
When feature finding, the solid bodies can now be automatically selected for you, for feature finding. If there is only one suitable body in the part, this will be selected for you, otherwise you will be prompted to digitise the body.
For parts with a single solid body, this body is automatically selected when you are feature finding. You only see the 'Digitise solid' prompt when there are several bodies in the part, so you need to specify which of these to find features in.
In turning, to avoid a redundant hole feature on the centre line, where there is a found bore feature, check the new Solids menu ► Feature Finder ► Turn tab ► Remove Centreline Hole option.
When feature finding, you can now find turn thread features that have been defined in Autodesk Inventor. (The features must have been defined on cylindrical faces, and the Edgecam session must have been started using the 'Launch Edgecam' option within the CAD system).
There has been a fix so you can now successfully import Autodesk Inventor assemblies into Edgecam, using the 'Launch Edgecam' option within the CAD system.
