Edgecam 2009 R2 - Improved automation and safer machining practices

Edgecam 2009 R2 enhancements cut design-to-metal time, by helping to reduce programming times and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Highlights include:

A range of milling enhancements, including In Process dynamic stock and fixture checking in the Roughing cycle.
5-Axis Machining enhancements, including new Blend Between operation, linear axis limit checking and direct approach to cycle start point.
Improved feature finding, including new Flat Face features, deletion of duplicate features, and feature finding holes in all CPLs (new CPLs created if necessary).
Safer indexing using 'exclusion zones'.
New Rough Turning and Finish Turning operations, and New Rough Turn cycle enhancements.
Safe turret parking and feature transfer between spindles for improved sub-spindle turning.
Strategy Manager enhancements.
