New Features in Version 11

Full 5-Axis Simultaneous Machining for Mill/Turn Centres (restricted to 4 axes in previous release).

Plunge Roughing Cycle- Cut Increment Stand Off allows setting of a distance above the material floor left by the previous 'cut increment' at which to begin the helical ramp down to the next cut increment.

Maintain Tool Order option for use when merging sequences, to ensure that a subsequent rationalise of the merged sequence does not change the machining order (such as placing finishing before roughing).

Output Relative To option allows selection of NC code coordinate system CPL , independent of the 'working CPL'.

Tool Control option for some milling cycles introduced, providing more detailed boundary control (such as 'no part of tool can go outside the boundary').

Apply To setting for leads in Face Milling Cycle allows leads to be applied to all cuts (with Mill Type set to Optimised).

Enhancements to the New Hole Cycle introduced, including  machining of radial holes on conical faces.

Separate Boundaries for Rest Roughing introduced allowing rest roughing boundaries independent from 'main' roughing boundaries.

Option to hide CPL Marker in Simulator introduced.

Comparison made Available in Simulate Machining so comparison available when index machining, rotary machining, turning or undercut machining (such as thread milling), and 4/5 Axis milling (not previously possible when View Comparison was only available in Rapid Result mode, which does not support these types of machining).

Option in Code Wizard introduced for the generated NC code to contain warning comments when moves for driven tools are specified, and the spindle is stopped.

Preference introduced for 'Tool on Cursor' to apply to free digitises only.

Align Body for Milling command introduced similar to existing Align Body for Turning command.

Open Pocket Features introduced bringing the advantages of feature based machining to open pocket regions.

Clearance Associated To option introduced for New Hole cycle, setting where the Associative Clearance height is measured from - the solid model or the cycle's hole features.

Edge Loop Features become usable as containment Boundaries, in all cycles that support containment boundaries.

4/5 Axis Operation Enhancements introduced, such as 'Lock 5th Axis At' for the Rotary Operation.

Shank Collision Checking Offset introduced for 5 Axis cycle - effectively increases diameter of tool shank for collision checking.

More Flexible 5 Axis Coordinate Options for Code Wizard introduced.

Positional Only Code Wizard setting allows creating of code generators for machines that can index to B angles, but cannot simultaneously drive the B axis.

New &BAXIS PCI System Variable introduced.

Round Corners setting introduced for Five Axis Cycle for preventing 'fishtails' being introduced into toolpath corners.
